Excessive heat has wide-ranging negative impacts. This tool estimates labor productivity losses due to heat for workers in different sectors in all subnational (admin1) regions and 9,000 cities; for three time periods (present, 2030, and 2050), under SSP 245 and SSP 585. Preloaded employment data for 874 cities is also used to calculate average labor productivity losses for these cities. Teams may also use the tool's rich temperature data for wider purposes.
