This tool is used to assess the roles the transport network and other lifelines infrastructure networks play for access and functionality of health facilities and the health facility network. Incase of the transport network, the results of the analysis identify which roads are the most critical in ensuring continued access during routine demand and in case of disasters. The underlying methodology and its results are further discussed in this technical paper and emerged from the World Bank report Frontline, that presents a framework to increase the resilience of health systems to shocks.
