Inspired by the people, climate, and culture of the Canadian island of Newfoundland, this work highlights the state of the province’s people in relation to its past and future climate. This work intends to shed light on the social and cultural impact resulting from both a long history of resilience against a highly variable climate and future which is becoming increasingly uncertain.
