The Rapid Diagnostic of School Infrastructure focuses on providing inputs for project preparation. The objective is to identify the main factors that place school infrastructure at risk from natural hazards and climate stress, and to understand the overall management and context within which school infrastructure is planned, designed, built, operated, and maintained. This provides an opportunity to engage and convene stakeholders working on school infrastructure and identify potential priority lines of action which are important for the government to address. The diagnostic follows the Roadmap for Safer Schools (RSRS) methodological framework to ensure all relevant aspects related to school infrastructure safety and resilience are systematically addressed. The diagnostic can be focused in one or more steps of the RSRS and can explore other areas not directly addressed in the RSRS related to school infrastructure.
