This set of checklist tools supports countries in assessing the comprehensiveness and depth of their building code provisions, focusing on four major elements: structural resilience, fire safety, green buildings, and universal accessibility. This will help countries’ governments and code review bodies (or professionals commissioned by governments) to assess their own codes against consolidated checklists referring to global examples of good practices. The methodology has been developed to be carried out by experts in each relevant discipline with broad engineering and architectural backgrounds.
