This GRADE report provides a synopsis of the estimated direct economic damage in Grenada in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, which made landfall on the island of Carriacou as a high-end Category 4 hurricane on July 1, 2024. Total economic damages are estimated at $218.0 million, or equivalent to approximately 16.5 percent of Grenada’s 2023 GDP. It provides information on the spatial distribution of damages to support the development of a roadmap for recovery and reconstruction.
