Hydrometeorological phenomena such as hurricanes, flooding, drought, and landslides have a significant influence on the population and economy of Nicaragua. In order to react on time, make informed decisions and prevent impacts, monitoring and analysis of meteorological, hydrological and climate conditions are required.
