In the frame of the "Building Climate Resilience in Tanzania Water Sector" project funded by the ACP-EU NDRR Program, Ramani Huria is a community-based mapping activity in Dar es Salaam that trains university students and local community members on how to create highly accurate maps of the most flood-prone areas in the city. Tanzanians are mapping their own city in order to solve flooding. The mapping contributes to better urban planning, better drainage and maintenance, and better community waste management.
